TRIBUNJATENG.COM, PURWOKERTO- FIKes UNSOED successfully held the 5th International Conference of Health and Sciences (ICHS) "Strengthening Collaboration and Innovation for Better Health Care".

This activity will be held on 20-21 September 2023 at the Java Heritage Hotel, Purwokerto.

The 5th ICHS FIK was held in a hybrid manner so that participants could attend online or offline.

The 1st day's activities on September 20 2023 were the delivery of material by the Keynote Speaker and Invited Speaker as well as the presentation of research output by presenters from within and outside FIKes UNSOED, including lecturers, students, or the general public.

The keynote speaker in this event is Prof. Dr. Laksono Trisnantoro, M.Sc., Ph.D. (Indonesian Ministry of Health) and Invited Speakers are Professor Rozzano Locsin (Florida Atlantic University, USA), and Siwi Pramatama Mars Wijayanti, PhD. (General Soedirman University, Indonesia).

The event was opened by Rifqi Festiawan, S.Pd., M.Pd. as chairman of the activities committee and the Dean of FIKes UNSOED, namely Dr. Sc.hum. Budi Aji, S.K.M., M.Sc.

After the opening, the event continued with the material of Keynote Speaker and Invited Speaker and continued with a discussion and question and answer session.

The moderator in the discussion session was Hikmi Muharromah Pratiwi, S.Kep.Ns from UNSOED FIKes Nursing.

After the discussion session with Invited Speakers, the event continued with presentations of research output results by presenters both online and offline.

The second day's activity on September 21 2023 was the material of the Invited Speaker, namely Assoc.Professor Kitti Sranacharoenpong, PhD (Mahidol University, Thailand) and Carsten Diers, PhD (Diers International Gmbh, Germany).

The material discussion was guided by the moderator, namely Afina Rachma Sulistyaning, S.Gz., M.Sc. from UNSOED FIKes Nutrition Science, and Dr.nat.techn. Hendri Wasito, S.Farm., M.Sc., Apt. from UNSOED FIKes Pharmacy.

After the discussion and question and answer session, the event continued with presentations of research output results by presenters both online and offline.

The International Conference of Health Sciences (ICHS) is a scientific conference organized by FIKes UNSOED every year, highlighting the latest issues and research results in the field of health sciences which include Nursing, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Public Health and Physical Education.

The theme carried by the 5th ICHS is "Strengthening Collaboration and Innovation for Better Health Care".

The aim of this conference is to act as a catalyst between knowledge and skills among scientists, academics, practitioners, students and office holders.

Apart from that, lecturers at the UNSOED Faculty of Health Sciences routinely receive research grants from various funding sources.

To disseminate the results of the research output, this conference was presented so that researchers could discuss and present the results of their latest research which offers various innovations and collaborations in the health sector.

This innovation and collaboration can contribute to improving and strengthening health education and health services needed by the global community.

The next hope is that this ICHS activity will continue to be organized by FIKes UNSOED. (*)
