Acara pemberian penghargaan ini digelar di KINTEX Hall, Ilsan, Gyeonggi, Korea Selatan.

Ini adalah acara pemberian penghargaan yang dipandu oleh Shin Dong Yuo, Suzy, dan Park Bo Gum.

Grand Prizes diberikan kepada Bong Joon Ho, sutradara film Parasite.

Sayangnya, Bong Joon Ho tidak bisa hadir untuk menerima penghargaan.

Namun perwakilan Bong Joon Ho mengungkap bahwa memenangkan Baeksang Awards merupakan suatu kehormatan.

"Suatu kehormatan bisa berakhir di Baeksang dalam perjalanan panjang yang dimulai pada Mei tahun lalu di Cannes."

Grand Prize untuk kategori televisi dimenangkan oleh Drakor When the Camellia Blooms.

Sementara itu, pemeran When the Camellia Blooms membawa pulang beberapa penghargaan.

Beberapa di antaranya adalah Kang ha Neul yang memenangkan kategori Aktor terbaik dan Oh Jung Se untuk kategori Pemeran Pendukung terbaik.

Drakor When the Camellia Blooms juga memenangkan skenario terbaik.

Penghargaan aktris terbaik diberikan untuk Kim Hee Ae atas perannya di Drakor The World of the Married.
