3. Read the text below!

I like athletics and I love watching athletics competitions. My sister, Lena, is a sprinter. Last month, she participated in a running race held by athletics association. This event was broadcasted by a local TV. My family except my mother could not accompany Lena to the stadium because it was far. Therefore, we watched the race on TV at home.

The camera was mainly on Lena, and I could see how focused she was. I wondered if she was praying or talking to herself in her head. She took a couple of big breaths. I felt so nervous. I clapped my hands in support. My cousins did what I did. My father just laughed at us. When the starter gun fired for the race to begin, there was the biggest roar in the stadium and in our house, too. The announcer said about 30,000 people were watching live, and it looked like every single one of them was taking a photo because thousands of flashes were going off on cameras every second of the race.

Then, the announcer was saying other people's names as he called the race but I was only looking at my sister. The other runners were blurry to me. Lena ran faster. Her legs were running faster than the other runners. I couldn't imagine anyone was going to catch her. Lena got even faster. This was a magnificent performance. She has charged home to win gold. There is another huge roar in the stadium and it seemed like an even bigger roar in my house. We were all jumping and down. My cousins hugged me. My father was almost crying.

I'm very proud of her. She not only makes our family happy but also our town. I hope she can win in other next competitions.
